Finding Neverland is set in 1903, England. Playwriter James Matthew Barrie (Depp) has a complete lack of inspiration and his last work was a deceptive play. When he meets the children of the widow Sylvia Llewelyn Davies, he becomes a friend of the family and Sylvia also becomes his muse and her children are a source of inspiration. James then goes on to write the successful play about “Peter Pan and Neverland”.
